Bedazzled

Brendan Fraser continues to cement his A list status with an effective turn as a man who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for 7 wishes. Liz Hurley, on the other hand, cements her reputation as the kiss of death for any film. Fraser is convincing as a wimp and as the host of other characters as the wishes don't go quite according to plan, whereas Hurley is just a plank to hang clothes on.

The gags come thick and fast and although they don't all work bedazzled is well worth a watch, and the extras on the DVD are quite impressive. Let's hope that the region 2 release has them.

Just a quick question, how does an awful actress like Liz Hurley keep getting work? She can't produce all her own films.
