| Wonder Woman: the Complete History Hardcover - 206 pages (20 October, 2000) Titan Books; ISBN: 1840232099 |
|
This title explores Wonder Woman's history from her earliest origins to her most recent transformations. The book traces her evolution through comic books, graphic novels, television and merchandise and includes interviews with famous "Wonder Woman" writers and artists. Like the others in the series (Batman and Superman) the third of DC's big three is well served by this gorgeous looking book. It methodically chronicles the evolution of this AMAZING comic book heroine from her early beginnings as female role model to a modern-day feminist and ambassador of peace. Just like the other two books it is a great read from beginning to end and I for one could not put it down and would thoroughly recommend it to any one who has even a vague interest in comics. |
