Bronze Service:
This covers typographical, mechanical, sentence structure, and grammatical errors.

Silver Service:
Bronze Service plus Comprehensive Editing: story flow; use of active voice; elimination of redundancies and/or repetitions, suggestions vis-à-vis improvements, and more - all of which are summarised in great detail in a critique letter at no extra charge in addition to the copious notes made on the manuscript.

Gold Service:
Many budding authors are beyond basic instruction but not yet ready for finished editing. Our new style critique is designed for that "in-between" writer. With this service, we will review one chapter of your manuscript looking for specific elements of style that you need to develop. Our fee for this service is £50, and turnaround time is one week from the time we receive your chapter. We will accept the chapter either in hard copy or on line. Taking this step before finishing a manuscript can help you produce better drafts from the start, and your writing skills will advance quickly. We highly recommend this for serious writers who want to build their skills quickly and economically.

First three consecutive chapters (up to 12,500 words)

All the above must be submitted to Steel Caves in double-spaced format for the purpose of editing. Please include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to cover the return of author's materials.

Internet or Library Research: £25.00 an hour.

We offer a five percent (5%) discount for payment in full and in advance.

Format:
Please submit all manuscripts using Times Roman or Courier 12-point font (please no fancy formatting or fonts). Text must be double spaced, with a one inch margin top, bottom, left, and right. Print only on one side of the paper, and number your pages consecutively.

SASE:
Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your disk or manuscript.

Terms:
One-half (fifty percent) of payment upon acceptance of project. Balance due prior to mailing completed project back to author.
